The commemoration of the translation of the relics of San Gennaro will be broadcast live by Tv2000 (channel 28 and 157 Sky), Saturday 2 May at 19 pm, from the Cathedral of Naples.
The celebration will be presided over by the Archbishop of Napoli, Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe. Due to the coronavirus emergency, this year the traditional procession from the Cathedral to the Basilica of Santa Chiara in memory of the transfer of the Relics of the Agro Marciano to the Catacombs of San Gennaro will not take place.

The ampoule with the Blood of San Gennaro, placed in the safe behind the altar of the Treasury Chapel, will be taken by the Archbishop who, alone, will carry it to the High Altar of the Cathedral to begin the celebration. At the end of the Mass, the Cardinal will bring the ampoule back to the Chapel.
