Gaetano Criscuolo, the businessman from Scafati who fatally shot his father on the evening of November 23, 16 at the height of an argument, was sentenced to 2019 years in prison.
The sentence, for voluntary homicide, was issued by the judges of the Court of Assizes of Naples. It was the parent Giuseppe Criscuolo himself who indicated the name of his murderous son before going into a coma. The lawyers of the convicted man have announced an appeal in Appeal against too heavy a sentence.

On November 16, 2019, he arrived at the Sarno hospital seriously injured; he had a gunshot wound to the face and one to the abdomen. Giuseppe Criscuolo, 75, had been shot by his son Gaetano, 47, at the height of a fight over financial reasons in their house in Boscoreale.
Death came on the morning of November 27, 2019. The Criscuolos are very well known between Scafati and Boscoreale: in fact, they run a household appliance shop in the Marra area which is located on the border between the two municipalities.
