The police in the province of Benevento have executed a precautionary measure of detention in prison with the benefit of house arrest, issued by the investigating judge of Sannio, against a 21-year-old boy investigated for a series of episodes of sexual violence, including with minor victims, starting from April 28 to June 2, 2022.
The twenty-one-year-old attacked girls alone but also in the company of friends, groping their buttocks, after having followed them in silence and having made sure that they were unable to react and defend themselves; in one of the cases, he groped the victim's genitals. Elements in the reports, the questioning of witnesses, photographic identification by the victims, technical checks on the vehicle used by the suspect and footage from public and private video surveillance systems identified him.
