13-year-old Sara Ez Zenaydi, who had been missing since last Thursday in Pontecagnano in the province of Salerno, was found in Grosseto.
Relief therefore in Pontecagnano Faiano, after the community mobilized for Sara, the 13-year-old girl who last Thursday left home to go to school and never returned.
The mayor, Giuseppe Lanzaro, reported on his Facebook profile “the news we were waiting for: Sara has been found. From the news we learn that she is well and is joining her family. A sigh of relief for everyone. Thanks to those who have knownno activated and contributed to the research”.
The young woman was found in Grosseto. She was identified – the mayor reports – by the railway police inside the Tuscan station.
From the first searches, his cell phone, always unreachable, was found to be connected to a cell in Naples and, as far as we know, he had sent a message writing “Don’t look for me, I’m fine.”
The investigations had initially concentrated on the Neapolitan hinterland, but Sara's photo had been spread as far as Milan, where a relative of hers lives.
Thanks to the circulation of the photo, the Grosseto Railway Police were able to identify her this morning, inside the station. The 13-year-old is in good health and is about to be joined by her family. Her mother can breathe a sigh of relief after days of tremendous anguish.
Investigators hypothesize that the girl left to reach someone she met through social media, but it will be up to her to clarify her intentions.
