The investigations conducted by the Public Prosecutor's Office Nola, within district 48 of the ASL Napoli 3, led to the registration of 26 workers of the facility in the register of suspects.
According to the investigations, it seems that the suspects implemented a consolidated En system in which they took turns exchanging badges. In this way, those who went to work could also punch the time card for those who were absent. In this way, the crafty ones could leave the facility undisturbed, while still appearing to be present at the workplace.
“The plague of time clock cheats is never-ending. Despite increasingly advanced technological systems and laws that provide for severe penalties, there are always those who try to evade the rules and defraud the State.
I hope that justice will take its course as quickly as possible, because those who have committed such a serious crime will never have to work in a public facility again”. This is the comment of Francesco Emilio Borrelli, deputy of Alleanza Verdi-Sinistra.
