His 'human' had been looking for him since morning. He had disappeared, he was not at home, nor was there any trace of him anywhere else. But his desire to 'enlist' in the police allowed his owner to hug him again. The protagonist of this curious episode with a happy ending is a Husky dog.
It's yesterday afternoon and at the Squitieri stadium in Sarno, in the Salerno area, there's a football match between Sarnese and Costa d'Amalfi. During their public order service, the officers of the local police station notice a gray-haired four-legged friend who, a bit disoriented, wanders right next to the police vehicles; in fact, the dog doesn't budge and eventually climbs aboard one of these and lets the officers approach him.
He gets to know them, plays, and follows them docilely to the police station, where a vet examines him, finding the microchip. At that point it was easy to trace the owner to give him back the dog.
