Naples. The regional councilor of Campania, Gennaro Saiello raised an urgent question: “This morning I received a shocking report from an oncology patient over seventy.
The situation in pavilion 8 of the Policlinico Federico II is unacceptable: long lines, hours of waiting and sessions broken. I patients, already tested by their condition and the high summer temperatures, are forced to wait on the pavement outside.”
Saiello, a member of the 5 Star Movement, called for immediate intervention by health managers: “I invite the managers of the Policlinico to promptly resolve this serious organizational problem.
Despite the quality of Campania's medical and nursing staff, too often inadequate management puts the dignity and health of patients at risk, especially those who are already seriously ill.”
