Je suis r'o' Sud is the musical that explores the deep soul of the South between tradition and innovation. On October 30, 2024, the musical “Je suis r'o' Sud” will be staged at the Teatro Sannazaro in Naples, a work that explores the history and soul of the South with an eye both to the past and to the future.
Produced by Studio Danza di Anna Sorrentino, the show is directed and choreographed by Marco de Alteriis, who promises to transport the audience on an immersive journey through the feelings of the South.
An emotional tribute to the South
Michele, the protagonist, vivid and passionate, is convinced of the identity and strength of the spirit of the South: he declares it to the entire world by printing the message “Je suis r'o' Sud” on t-shirts in his shop in Chiaiolella. This musical stages a proud and complex South, expressed through the voices, guitars and dances of the talented performers.
Artists involved and useful information
The show features music by Manuel Zito, with Fabrizio Mandara on guitar and vocals. The dancers of the NCDC – Neapolitan Contemporary Dance Company will perform on stage, together with the participants of the project “'A Scugnizzeria”, with the expert direction of Anna Sorrentino for Studio Danza.
