Secondigliano. A joint operation of the State Police led to a sensational seizure of weapons and drugs in the heart of Secondigliano. During an intense territorial control activity, the agents broke into a house, where they found a real hidden arsenal.
The woman who occupied the apartment, a 41-year-old with a criminal record, at the sight of the police officers desperately tried to get rid of the dangerous load, throwing two bags full of drugs, a firearm and ammunition out of the window. The gesture was useless, however: the officers managed to recover everything.
Almost half a kilo of drugs, a gun and ammunition
Inside the bags, the cops they found about half a kilo of narcotic substances including marijuana, hashish and cocaine, already packaged in doses for dealing. But the most disturbing discovery was that of a 10-gauge pistol with the serial number erased and numerous rounds of ammunition of various calibers.
The 41-year-old was arrested on charges of illegal possession of weapons, receiving stolen goods and possession of narcotics. The police operation, which involved officers from the Secondigliano Police Station, the Nibbio, the Canine Units and the Campania Crime Prevention Unit, represents a severe blow to organized crime in the area.
