The Azzurri are preparing to take to the field for the last two matches in the Nations League group, crucial matches to ensure their passage to the quarter-finals of the tournament. On Thursday 14 November, the National team will face Belgium at the 'King Baudouin' stadium in Brussels, while on Sunday 17 November it will be the turn of the match against France, hosted at the 'Giuseppe Meazza' stadium in Milan. The standings of Group 2 of League A currently see Italy in the lead with a one-point advantage over the French and six over the Belgians. To guarantee qualification, they will only need to earn one point in these two matches.

Luciano Spalletti, coach of the National team and soon to be awarded in the 'Hall of Fame of Italian Football', has called up 23 players for these decisive matches. Among the players called up, some new names stand out: first call-up for Pietro Comuzzo, defender of Fiorentina, Nicolò Savona, defender of Juventus, and Nicolò Rovella, midfielder of Lazio. Nicolò Barella, absent from the last European Championships, also returns to wear the blue jersey.

The Azzurri will gather on Sunday 10 November at Coverciano, where they will train until Wednesday 13th, before leaving in the afternoon for Brussels. After the match against Belgium, the team will move to Milan and continue their preparation in Appiano Gentile, at the Angelo Moratti Sports Centre, in view of the final match against France.
