An arrest was made by the State Police yesterday evening, involving a 64-year-old man of Pakistani origin. The operation, conducted by the staff of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, occurred following a provision determining concurrent sentences.
The provision, issued on December 9th by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Napoli – Criminal Enforcement Office, expects the man to serve a sentence of 2 years and 7 months in prison. The charges brought against the subject include receiving stolen goods and introducing products marked with false signs into the State.
The operation is part of the activities to combat economic crimes and counterfeiting, a topic that continues to have high priority for law enforcement.

What happened is a very serious matter, but I think we should also consider the circumstances surrounding this man. You never know a person's history or the reasons for his actions.
