The heart of Naples has once again shown its generosity. Thanks to the initiative “Giocattolo Sospeso,” promoted by the Municipality, Christmas has taken on an even deeper meaning for hundreds of children. The courtyard of Palazzo San Giacomo has transformed into an oasis of joy, where laughter and sparkling eyes have lit up the atmosphere.
This year, the project wanted to go beyond traditional gifts, giving away a thousand musical instruments. A gesture that not only brings a smile to the faces of the little ones, but that stimulates their creativity and opens the doors to a world of new possibilities. Music, as we know, is a universal language that unites and makes us dream.
Mayor Gaetano Manfredi emphasized how this initiative is a tangible symbol of the solidarity that animates the city of Naples. “The 'Giocattolo Sospeso' is much more than a simple exchange of gifts – said the mayor – it is an act of love towards our community, a concrete commitment to reduce inequalities and build a fairer future for all.”
But the “Giocattolo Sospeso” is not just an event, it is a journey. Thanks to the generosity of Neapolitans and the collaboration of participating stores, the project continues to live until Epiphany, bringing a little magic into the homes of those who have less. Each donated toy is a brick that helps build a more supportive and inclusive city.

It's a nice project that of the Toy Suspended, but I hope that people continue to give even after Christmas. Music is important for children and the heart of Naples is always generous, but more support is needed.
