On Sunday 15 December 2024, the Biblioteca delle Culture Sac. Alagi in Villa Bruno, San Giorgio a Cremano, will host the XNUMXth edition of the National Poetry and Narrative Competition “Talenti Vesuviani”.
A Commitment to Legality
Focused on the theme of legality, the “Talenti Vesuviani” Award has established itself as a major event in the cultural landscape, attracting national and international participants. Vincenzo Russo, the creator of the competition, highlights the importance of culture in integration and in the fight against discrimination and violence.
Focus on Gender Violence
In 2024, the focus will be on raising awareness against gender violence, with a special focus on violence against women. Through cultural dialogues and institutional support, the event, sponsored by the President of the Chamber of Deputies and the Municipal Administration of San Giorgio a Cremano, will see the participation of institutional figures and the police force as a sign of commitment to legality.
Awards ceremony
The ceremony will see the awarding of 42 authors who have distinguished themselves for the literary value of their works. The musical trio Gatos Do Mar will provide artistic accompaniment, creating an original musical experience. The meeting will be moderated by Vincenzo Russo and the writer Marianna Scagliola, encouraging a dialogue between institutions, artists and the public to promote inclusiveness through culture.
