“Let’s pretend it’s all right…!!!”: a tribute to Neapolitan culture will take place at the Teatro De Lise in Sarno. This event, conceived by Carmine Pagano, will be a tribute to the artistic heritage of Naples, through a mix of theater, music and folklore.

The event is organized by the Andromeda Theater Group and the Piccolo Teatro di Sarno, with the support of the Municipality of Sarno and Sarno Servizi Integrati. Proceeds from the evening will be donated to AVIS Sarno Odv. The show is a journey through time, celebrating Neapolitan history and art from 1200 to the present day, with iconic music and songs performed by artists such as Enrico Battaglia, Francesco Pio Lamberti, and others. The musical accompaniment will be enriched by traditional instruments, such as the mandolin and bagpipe. Gemma Annunziata will lend her voice to guide the audience through this cultural experience.

Comedy and Neapolitan Tradition

Written and directed by Carmine Pagano, the play tells the story of a theater company led by "Giggino" who, faced with an unexpected setback, must overcome a challenge for a performance scheduled in Milan. Through moments of comedy and improvisation, the audience will be transported to the Neapolitan atmosphere thanks to the performances of actors such as Vincenzo Casalino and Gabriele Musco. The plot takes a positive turn with the return of singer Carmela, played by Gemma Annunziata.

Musical Journey Through Time

The show explores the evolution of Neapolitan music and theater, from the earliest melodies of the 1200th century to the influences of the 900th century. Honors will be paid to artists who have shaped Naples' cultural history, including Totò, Eduardo De Filippo, and Massimo Troisi. References will also be made to Enrico Caruso, Sergio Bruni, and Pino Daniele, artists who have left an indelible mark on the global music scene. The show will culminate with a tribute to contemporary artists such as Massimo Ranieri and Gigi D'Alessio.

On December 26, Teatro De Lise will host an event that promises to be a vibrant celebration of the city of Naples, immersing the audience in its traditions and exuberant culture, in an environment rich in music and entertainment.
