Pomigliano d'Arco – A 35-year-old man was arrested by the Carabinieri after being caught rummaging through the closets of a classroom inside a school on Via Jan Palach.
The intervention of the military allowed them to stop the thief in the act, preventing further damage to the school. Subsequently, during a search of the 35-year-old's home, the Carabinieri from the Pomigliano station found an interactive whiteboard , stolen from the same school four days earlier.
The man, already known to law enforcement, is now charged with aggravated theft and will face judicial review. The operation is part of intensified police controls to combat school thefts and protect school property, which is increasingly targeted by criminals.
