Pomigliano d'Arco – A 35-year-old man was arrested by the Carabinieri after being caught rummaging through the closets of a classroom inside a school on Via Jan Palach.
The intervention of the military allowed them to stop the thief in the act, avoiding further damage to the school. Subsequently, during a search of the 35-year-old's home, the Carabinieri of the Pomigliano station found a multimedia interactive whiteboard, stolen from the same institute four days earlier.
The man, already known to the police, is now accused of Theft aggravated and will have to answer for the crime before the judicial authorities. The operation is part of the intensified controls by the police to combat thefts in schools and protect school property, which is increasingly targeted by criminals.

It is a really bad situation what happens in Pomigliano d'Arco. It is unbelievable that a person would steal from a school. Thieves must be severely punished to protect schools from future thefts.
