A serious case of domestic abuse has emerged in Turin, where a 13-year-old student experienced nights of terror due to domestic violence by her father.
The girl described disturbing moments, including “the sound of knives, her father's footsteps in the middle of the night, threats about how the man would kill her mother.” These experiences led her to suffer from hallucinations and faint in class, causing concern among teachers.
A teacher noticed worrying behavior from the student and, recognizing the seriousness of the situation, suggested that the girl speak to a school psychologist.
