This morning, at the press room of the “Romeo Menti” stadium, the pre-match press conference of the Juve Stabia coach, mister Pagliuca, was held: the coach took stock of the team's situation, including the transfer market, absences and seasonal objectives.
“It's paradoxical how the January market destabilizes teams like ours,” Pagliuca began, referring to the uncertainty that accompanies the negotiation period. “Those who arrive will not be like those who leave us: these are players who perhaps have not had space elsewhere and who will have to adapt to our consolidated game plan. The real strength of this team is the group and this must not be influenced by anyone.”
The coach then spoke about the recent match against Palermo: "The match showed us that we were the ones who didn't want to win. We lacked the right nastiness, and we can't afford that. We have a goal to reach, and only with nastiness and the pleasure of playing football can we achieve it."
Pagliuca stressed the importance of the “trademark” of the Juve Stabia: “All 30 points scored so far are the result of our unity and our bite on the meter, that grit that unfortunately has been missing in the last two games. From tomorrow it absolutely must return.” There was no shortage of notes on the difficulties related to injuries: “We will have several unavailable players like Fortini, as well as some boys with the flu. We hope to recover Mosti, who is a fundamental player and must give us a lot.”
Pagliuca concluded with a motivating message: "The boys have to play for the shirt, for the fans, for the club and for their own ambitions. The Juve Stabia dream starts here, and we will have to fight with all our strength to get those 15 points that we need in the second half of the season."
