Gianni Fiorellino, a well-known Neapolitan musician and singer, has launched his new single entitled “Scusame”. Produced by Leone Produzioni for the Zeus Record label, the song is now available on all major digital streaming platforms. The central theme of the single is lost love, a recurring subject in Fiorellino's artistic production, explored here in its most painful and lacerating form.
Article Key Points
Collaborations and Composition
The lyrics of “Scusame” were written by Vincenzo and Melania D'Agostino, who describe a story of regret and loss without resignation, fitting into the tradition of Neapolitan song. The musical score was composed by Gianni Fiorellino together with Luigi D'Agostino. The song, although respecting the stylistic features of the Neapolitan tradition, is enriched with Britpop influences from the nineties, giving the melody a dynamic and articulated structure.
Video Clip Production
Along with the release of the single, the video clip “Scusame” was also released, directed by Marco Cantone. The filming took place in the suggestive Reggia di Portici, thanks to the collaboration with the Municipality of Portici and the Department of Agriculture of the University of Naples Federico II.
Future Projects
In addition to the release of his new single, Fiorellino is currently busy in the studio working on his next album and in a series of live concerts. Among his upcoming projects is the “Gianni Fiorellino rock show”, a special event that will be held on June 21st at the Arena Flegrea in Naples, with the possibility of a second date due to a high number of pre-sales managed by the Etes.it platform. During this show, Fiorellino will explore musical genres that have long fascinated him, offering an evening outside the usual patterns.
