The Lega Serie A Assembly, meeting today in Milan with the participation of all 20 clubs, unanimously approved the weighting algorithm that will be used in defining the audience shares for calculating the distribution of audiovisual rights for the current season.
During the meeting, the new president of the League Serie A, Ezio Simonelli, opened the proceedings by welcoming Italo Zanzi, the new executive president of Hellas Verona. Immediately after, the representatives of the companies addressed the points on the agenda, carrying on a constructive and smooth dialogue.
“The meeting took place in a calm and highly participatory atmosphere – declared President Simonelli – I found a strong unity of purpose among the clubs, an essential element to strengthen our collaboration with the Federation. This will allow us to bring Serie A back to the center of the football system, reaffirming its role as a driving force”.
