The Lega Serie A Assembly, meeting today in Milan with all 20 clubs in attendance, unanimously approved the weighting algorithm that will be used to determine audience share for calculating the distribution of audiovisual rights for the current season.
During the meeting, the new president of the Lega Serie A , Ezio Simonelli, opened the proceedings by welcoming Italo Zanzi, the new executive president of Hellas Verona. Immediately afterward, the club representatives addressed the agenda items, maintaining a constructive and smooth dialogue.
"The meeting took place in a calm and highly participatory atmosphere ," said President Simonelli. " I observed a strong unity of purpose among the clubs, a key element in strengthening our collaboration with the Federation. This will allow us to bring Serie A back to the heart of the football system, reaffirming its role as a driving force."
