Nearly fifty years after its release, Martin Scorsese's masterpiece "Taxi Driver" is ready to return to Italian theaters in a restored 4K version. From March 31st to April 2nd, viewers will have the opportunity to relive the visual and narrative power of a film that left an indelible mark on cinema history.

### The return of Scorsese's classic

Released in 1976, “Taxi Driver” chronicles the descent into madness of Travis Bickle, a former marine and night cab driver, plunged into alienation in a corrupt and violent New York. The cast also includes Jodie Foster, Harvey Keitel and Cybill Shepherd.

It's great that Taxi Driver is coming back, but I don't understand why the film needs to be restored in 4K. The story is already powerful and I don't think the visual details change much. I hope it's still an interesting event.
