Sorrento, at the center of the attention of the police forces in this holiday period with the arrival of thousands of tourists every day.

Yesterday, officers from the Sorrento Police Station and personnel from the Metropolitan Police, with the support of the Campania Crime Prevention Department, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in the municipality of Sorrento and identified 307 people, 59 of whom had a police record, checked 162 vehicles, one of which was subjected to administrative detention.

Finally, 9 violations of the Highway Code were contested for driving without a helmet, failure to use seat belts, failure to display vehicle registration documents and for using radiotelephone devices while driving.
