Arzano. Operations continue in the land of fires on Arzano and this time several vehicles have ended up under lock and key.

The local police officers led by Commander Biagio Chiariello, part of the control room in the land of fires, have set up observation and stakeout services between the roads entering and exiting the city.

Several vehicles were stopped, including a car loaded with waste transported by a 40-year-old Romanian, JD. On board were WEEE waste, copper, household appliances and other items, including a dangerous gas stove.
One of the occupants, also Romanian, ran away while the other, stopped after the check and identification, turned out to have no driving licence, insurance or MOT.

Fines were issued for 8 thousand euros and the vehicle entrusted to the judicial custodian was seized while the man was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Tribunal of Naples North for violation of environmental regulations including transport and illegal management of waste subjected to sampling by ARPAC.

A few days ago, the officers stopped another citizen who had recently vacated a council house, a conduct reported by the municipal police because he was an illegal squatter, who had abandoned waste in the street but was stopped and again reported with seizure of the vehicle.

The two individuals, on board a truck owned by the same construction company for which they work, based in Casandrino, were illegally managing and disposing of some waste from construction activities in via Po.

The officers reported the two employees to the competent judicial authority and seized the truck used to transport the aforementioned waste.

An area transformed into an illegal landfill, industrial processing without the necessary permits, and irregular waste management. This is the result of an operation conducted by the Carabinieri in Marcianise, in the heart of the so-called Land of Fires, where enforcement efforts to combat environmental crimes continue.

Officers from the local station, supported by the Carabinieri Forestry Unit, reported a thirty-one-year-old businessman, owner of a metalwork business, at large. The operation is part of a targeted effort to combat crimes that threaten the local area and public health.
