Avellino. A 66-year-old man from Frigento barricaded himself in his home for 36 hours, armed with a billhook, axe and knife, to avoid compulsory medical treatment (TSO) ordered by the Avellino Prosecutor's Office.
At the sight of the Carabinieri who had arrived to notify him of the measure, the man began throwing stones and objects at the soldiers and medical personnel, damaging the window of an ambulance. The Carabinieri of the Company of Mirabella Eclano, two tactical first response teams and a negotiator from the Provincial Command.
After a long negotiation, in the afternoon the carabinieri entered the house, immobilizing the man without injuries and entrusting him to medical care.
