Mugnano theft in construction site – A nighttime theft shook Mugnano di Napoli, where the Carabinieri intervened in a construction site located in via Colombo. The alert was raised when some citizens noticed suspicious movements and contacted the police. Thanks to the timely reporting, the military arrived on site and surprised 46-year-old Francesco De Crescenzo, already known to the police, intent on dismantling parts of the scaffolding.
Some witnesses reported seeing the man sneaking around the construction site, which aroused suspicion and led to a call to the Carabinieri. When the police arrived, De Crescenzo tried to escape, attempting to evade capture. However, after a brief chase on foot, the Carabinieri they managed to stop him.
