Agropoli. A drug trafficking ring in Agropoli and other Cilento municipalities was dismantled this morning thanks to an operation conducted by the Carabinieri of the local unit, coordinated by the Salerno Public Prosecutor's Office.
During the blitz, the military executed 6 precautionary orders against as many people accused of drug trafficking. The military investigations highlighted numerous sales, even at home, by the pusher who received orders via chat.
Among the clients were also people who frequent the Cilento centers as tourists in the summer months, including many young people. The group also sold drugs in places frequented by young people, both local and those who come from other municipalities.
We hope that with this operation the situation in the area will improve, we must fight drug trafficking in every possible way.
