The Teatro Troisi season continues with the eagerly awaited show "Napoli tre punti ea capo," scheduled for December 12-15 and 20-22, 2024. The event will be led by the Nuova Orchestra Italiana, composed partly of the founding members of Renzo Arbore's Orchestra Italiana, under the direction of Pino Oliva.

The event offers audiences a musical experience that blends tradition and innovation, promising to captivate with its unique sounds.

### Ensemble of musical talents

The ensemble is made up of fourteen skilled musicians. Gianni Conte, lead vocalist, along with Barbara Buonaiuto and Giovanni Imparato, stand out. Massimo Volpe, on piano and orchestral director, leads the string group, which includes Giordano Esposito, Michele Montefusco, Marco Manusso, and Nicola Cantatore on guitars. The rhythmic aspect is handled by Peppe Sannino on percussion, Roberto Ciscognetti on drums, and Massimo Cecchetti on bass. Raffaele La Ragione, Salvatore Esposito, and Salvatore della Vecchia enrich the Orchestra's sound with mandolins and their voices.

### Musical repertoire

The musical program includes famous Neapolitan songs such as "Torna a Surriento," "Era de Maggio," and "Luna Rossa," alongside more modern hits. The performance, lasting over two hours, is enhanced by the stage presence of actor Gino Rivieccio, who infuses the event with a lively, theatrical touch.

### A tribute to Renzo Arbore

The evening intends to pay homage to the musical legacy of Renzo Arbore, including in the finale some of his most famous pieces. The Nuova Orchestra Italiana thus stages an emotional and dynamic tribute, promising to keep alive the musical tradition of Naples through a vibrant sound journey.

I am interested in this show, but I am not sure if the dates are convenient. I hope to be able to go see the performance, even though I am not a big fan of traditional Neapolitan music, but it could be nice.
