Naples – The Naples Police Headquarters continues its efforts to stem crimes related to illegal possession of weapons and drug trafficking.
Yesterday afternoon, the officers of the Montecalvario Police Station surprised two minors in Spanish Quarters, reporting one and administratively sanctioning another.
The protagonists of the story are a 17-year-old Neapolitan, accused of carrying weapons or objects capable of causing offence, and a girl of the same age, reported for possession of drugs for personal use.
During a targeted patrol in Largo Baracche, the police officers noticed the two young men who, at the sight of the patrol, tried to disappear. They were promptly caught and searched: the boy was found in possession of a knife, while the girl was hiding a package containing approximately 1,5 grams of hashish.
At the end of the ritual procedures, the two were returned to their respective families. The operation is part of the extraordinary services arranged by the Police Headquarters to guarantee safety and legality in the sensitive areas of the city.
