Local police checks Napoli as ordered by the Provincial Committee for Order and Security. In particular, in the period 12-27 February, checks were carried out on 125 taxis, finding 49 violations of the Highway Code with 3 ordinary and 3 short suspensions of the license.
For rental with driver, there were 144 checks, with the detection of 49 violations and the consequent adoption of an administrative detention, an administrative seizure, 2 suspensions from vehicle circulation, as well as a registration document sent to the Civil Motorization, a vehicle entrusted to the custodian purchaser and a suspension of the license.
Prefect Michele di Bari thanked the Commander of the local police, Ciro Esposito, and all the staff "who have dedicated their efforts to this important activity of restoring legality, to protect travellers and tourists".
