Naples – The 82-year-old woman who was hit on February 26th while crossing the pedestrian crossing on Via Medina, at number 61, did not make it.
The woman, hit by a motorcycle driven by a 53-year-old at around 18:55 pm, was rushed to the Cardarelli hospital with a reserved prognosis.
The Local Police Road Accident Unit intervened at the scene of the accident, seized the vehicle and carried out tests on the driver to verify any psychophysical alteration. After 12 days of hospitalization, his conditions worsened until his death.
The Prosecutor's Office has ordered the body to be made available for a possible autopsy. This is the fifth road victim since the beginning of 2025 in Naples.
