The Carabinieri of the Capua Company intervened at a dairy located in via Ceraselle in Caianello, due to the reported presence of two individuals who were throwing stones in the direction of the commercial activity. When they arrived on site, they noticed two people who, each brandishing a wooden stick, were attacking one of their fellow countrymen. With no small difficulty, they managed to stop them and take them to the barracks where, shortly after, the owner of the dairy, a 66-year-old from Cancello and Arnone, also arrived. The latter reported that the two individuals, identified as CIOVEI Florin, class 78 and BENI Florin, class 65, both Romanian, had entered his commercial activity shortly before the arrival of the police, demanding money and food. When he refused, they attacked him and in particular, while one of the two held him by the arm, the other took some food products displayed in the window. As they left the premises, they first insulted him and then threw stones in the direction of his business.
Those arrested who will have to answer for aggravated theft, assault, resisting and violence against a public official, will be judged with a direct trial.
