Five exciting concerts hosted in a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Royal Palace of Caserta. Tickets will be on sale on Monday 8 August at 14.00:10 p.m., on the website www.unestatedare.it and at authorized retailers, to attend – at affordable prices, from 30 to 3 euros – the shows of the VII edition of “Un'Estate da RE”, the musical festival scheduled from 18 to XNUMX September at the Royal Palace of Caserta.
An extraordinary inauguration with Carmina Burana, a concert-tribute to Fabrizio De André with Peppe Servillo, a stop on Mario Biondi's tour and a special double concert by Claudio Baglioni: this is the programme that ranges from scenic singing to soul, up to the iconic Italian singer-songwriter revisited in a symphonic key, packaged by the artistic director Antoni Marzullo.
Planned and financed by the Campania Region (POC 2014-2020 funds), organized and promoted by Scabec – a regional company for the enhancement of cultural heritage – in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the Management of the Royal Palace of Caserta, the Municipality of Caserta and the Municipal Theater “Giuseppe Verdi” of Salerno, “Un'Estate da RE” returns this year to the courtyards of the Royal Palace, an opportunity to pay a great tribute to Maestro Luigi Vanvitelli, less than a year after the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of his death.
The event, which over the years has become an opportunity for cultural and tourist relaunch and for the enhancement of the entire Caserta area and Campania, confirms its policy of accessible prices for all this year. Tickets for Carmina Burana and Fabrizio De André Sinfonico will be on sale at 10 and 15 euros.
Those for Claudio Baglioni at 20 and 30 euros. Tickets for Mario Biondi's Romantic Tour have a single rate of 20 euros. The reduced-rate ticket is reserved for under 30s and for owners and buyers of campania>artecard, the tourist pass that allows you to visit the main cultural sites in Campania (other discounts will be reported on the event's website).
A choice, that of low prices, wanted by the Campania Region to give everyone the opportunity to experience listening to great music and its extraordinary protagonists in an extraordinary site like the Royal Palace of Caserta.
The program
“Un'Estate da RE” will begin on Saturday, September 3 with Carmina Burana, the most comprehensive anthology of medieval songs of non-religious inspiration based on 24 poems found in homonymous poetic texts. The “Giuseppe Verdi” Philharmonic Orchestra of Salerno will be conducted by Michael Balke, an excellent and acclaimed conductor. On stage, the voices of Deniz Leone, Laura Claycomb and Gustavo Castillo will dialogue, accompanied by the Chorus of the Teatro dell'Opera di Salerno and the Children's Chorus of the Teatro “Giuseppe Verdi” of Salerno.
On Thursday 8 September there will be a concert-tribute to Fabrizio De André (Sinfonico – Sogno n°1 e oltre), whose music will be reinterpreted in an orchestral key by the English pianist, composer, arranger and conductor Geoff Westley. Peppe Servillo, soloist of Avion Travel, and Ilaria Pilar Patassini will perform some of De André's most beautiful songs.
Mario Biondi's “Romantic tour” will stop at the Reggia di Caserta on Tuesday, September 13. Biondi will bring his most famous songs to the stage as well as those from his new album “Romantic”, released on March 18, a project entirely dedicated to love in all its forms, from the bond between couples to the bond between brothers and sisters, to the love for parents and children.
Grand finale with a special double concert by Claudio Baglioni, protagonist on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September together with the “Giuseppe Verdi” Philharmonic Orchestra of Salerno conducted by Geoff Westley: fifty years of great music and great recording successes will be enclosed in two magical evenings with very strong emotions.
All shows will start at 21.00:XNUMX PM.
