Article Key Points
The Campanian Dates
The summer tour of the famous Roman singer, who has already had an extraordinary preview with a double special event at the Baths of Caracalla, will touch some of the most suggestive locations in Campania. On July 27, Fiorella Mannoia will perform at the Real Sito di Carditello in San Tammaro (CE) on the occasion of the Carditello Festival. On July 29th it will be the turn of the Belvedere di Villa Rufolo in Ravello (SA), as part of the Ravello Festival, while on September 3rd the tour will end at the Arena Matese in Piedimonte Matese (CE).
The Symphony Orchestra
For the first time in her career, Fiorella Mannoia will be accompanied by a live symphony orchestra: the Saverio Mercadante Orchestra of Altamura, conducted by Maestro Rocco De Bernardis and composed of 21 elements. This new musical guise sees the great successes of Mannoia rearranged by illustrious masters such as Valeriano Chiaravalle, Alterisio Paoletti, Clemente Ferrari, Emanuele Bossi, Stefano Zavattoni and Pippo Caruso, giving them new nuances.
The Hits in the Lineup
The concert lineup includes some of the artist's most famous songs. From "Caffe nero bollente" to "Quizas Quizas Quizas", passing through "Che sia benedetta" and "Sally". There will also be more recent songs, including the latest summer single in collaboration with Michele Bravi, "Domani è Primavera" and "Mariposa". This last song, winner of the Sergio Bardotti Award at the Sanremo Festival 2024 and the Elsa Morante Award, has become a symbol of the pride of being a woman, inspired by the story of the Mirabal sisters, represented in the live scenography by three colored butterflies.
The Accompanist on Stage
In addition to the orchestra, Fiorella Mannoia will be joined by some excellent musicians: Carlo Di Francesco (percussion and artistic direction), Raul Scebba (percussion), Sebastiano Burgio (piano), Pierpaolo Ranieri (bass and double bass), and Massimiliano Rosati (guitars).
