Nola. During the services arranged by the agents of the Highway Police Detachment of Nola, a vehicle with French license plates was stopped near km 50 of the SS7 BIS.

The investigation revealed inconsistencies between the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on the windshield and the manufacturer's identification plate in the engine compartment. Further checks confirmed that the chassis number was counterfeit and that the vehicle, registered in Italy, had been stolen in Marano di Napoli at the beginning of September 2023.
The driver, resident in Cicciano (NA), was reported for money laundering, counterfeiting and illicit use of state seals. Furthermore, he was fined for various violations of the Highway Code, while the vehicle was seized.
