Cavasatore, a patrol of the security forces foils the robbery at the supermarket

In the sights of a gang of thieves it had ended in a confrontation supermarket: robbery foiled thanks to a patrol from the Europolice Private Security Institute.

It was just after two in the morning when the car of the security guards on routine duty at Acacie Park noticed a large-engined, dark-colored car, with five individuals disguised by neck warmers on board, tinkering around near the supermarket.

ùAt the sight of the patrol, the gang of thieves fled. From the first investigations, while waiting for 112, it was discovered that they had already torn off the entrance shutter with a flex and were about to break into the safe.

Investigations are underway by the Carabinieri who have viewed video surveillance images.
