Naples. The State Police arrested a 28-year-old Neapolitan, already known to the police, for illicit possession of narcotics. The agents of the Flying Squad, engaged in Checks targeted, they noticed in via Villari, in the Sanità district, a man riding a scooter who, after having traveled the road at high speed, stopped in via Mario Pagano to meet a woman, to whom he gave some packages in exchange for money.
After observing the scene, the police intervened and stopped both of them. The man had a dose of hashish hidden in a shoe and 120 euros in cash, while in the compartment saddle pad a further quantity of the same drug was found on the scooter. For this, he was arrested and also fined for driving without a license, with the consequent seizure of the vehicle.
The woman, in possession of the drugs she had just purchased, was instead administratively sanctioned for possession of narcotics for personal use.
The officers subsequently searched the area where the man had been seen before the meeting, finding a bag containing approximately 45 grams of hashish hidden in a hole in the Wall perimeter of a building. In an abandoned garage on the same street, another 80 grams of the same substance were discovered and seized.
