Singer-songwriter Zak returns to the music scene with his new single “Se non esisti tu”. The song, available on all digital platforms starting Friday, December 13, is produced by Indie Box and distributed by ADA Music Italy. With “Se non esisti tu”, Zak introduces darker and more diverse atmospheres compared to the summer rhythms of his debut with “Hangover”.
An exploration of the human condition
The new single, characterized by synthpop sounds, explores themes of awareness and acceptance, dwelling on the fragility of existence. Zak describes “Se non esisti tu” as “a journey between presences and absences, between fears and inner strength”, emphasizing the role of insecurities and memories in conferring eternity. The song focuses on the importance of unity with another person and the devastating consequences of its breakup.
An eclectic musical career
Originally from Brescia, Zak has nurtured his passion for music since he was young. After experiences in various local bands such as “The Oranges” and “Speedliner”, he founded “Gli Animali Notturni” in 2018, where he is currently the singer. In 2022, he began a solo project while maintaining the pseudonym that has always accompanied him. Zak's musical influences include big names such as Lucio Battisti and international stars such as David Bowie and Lou Reed.

And an interesting analysis of Zak's music and his themes, but I feel like there is a certain repetitiveness in his work. It would be interesting to see how his music evolves in the coming years.
