The Arbostella Theater continues to offer audiences a comedy-filled program, now in its 17th year. The event is organized by the association under the artistic direction of Arturo Esposito.
On the final weekends of January and early February, the theatre will host the Compagnia Fuori dalle Quinte with the performance of “E a mme, me danno a' pensione – ovvero Tonino Cardamone giovane in pensione”, a farce by Paolo Caiazzo, with the participation of Ardone, Peluso and Massa.
The plot and the cast
The story revolves around Nicolino Esposito, a thirty-year-old man who is taking early retirement due to alleged mental disorders. These disorders, in their ambiguity, allow him to analyze his surroundings with particular lucidity. The comedy, which includes characters such as a stingy sister and a cousin with vague directorial ambitions, will have to face an imminent inspection by the INPS. The situation triggers a series of comic events that showcase the talent of the actors involved, directed by Eduardo Di Lorenzo.
