Three arrests were made in Castel Volturno, following a copper theft that occurred in a hotel closed to the public. Police The State Police of Caserta intervened by arresting three men, including an Italian citizen and two foreigners, aged between 25 and 34.
The arrested were caught while trying to take away approximately 60 kg of copper, extracted from electrical and plumbing components of the building. At the time of the intervention, one of the men tried to flee and, once reached, resisted by hitting an officer with kicks and punches. The officer had to receive medical treatment for the bruises suffered.
Following the direct trial, an order prohibiting two of the arrested individuals from residing in the province of Caserta was issued. The third individual, who had already been the recipient of a previous precautionary custody order for another robbery, was held in the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.

It's strange that these things always happen in places like Castel Volturno, where security should be higher. I hope the authorities do more to prevent thefts and similar crimes.
