A tragedy has struck the small community of Caiazzo, in Caserta, when a 76-year-old man was fatally crushed by a motor hoe. According to an initial reconstruction of the facts, the man was working to repair the machine when the accident occurred.
It seems that during the operation, he was crushed with one leg by the heavy machine. The intense pain caused an illness that, unfortunately, proved fatal for the man. The 118 staff was promptly alerted and went to the scene of the accident, but despite their efforts, it was not possible to save the life of the 76-year-old.
In order to gain a detailed and comprehensive understanding of the circumstances that led to the accident, local authorities are currently involved in an in-depth investigative process that aims to scrupulously examine every aspect connected to this tragic event.
