A tragedy has struck the small community of Caiazzo, in the Caserta area, when a 76-year-old man was fatally crushed by a rototiller. According to an initial reconstruction of events, the man was working to repair the machine when the accident occurred.
It appears that during the operation, his leg was crushed by the heavy machine. The intense pain caused him to become ill, which unfortunately proved fatal. Emergency personnel were promptly alerted and rushed to the scene of the accident, but despite their efforts, the 118-year-old's life could not be saved.
