The strict controls, carried out by the Carabinieri of the Company of Maddaloni with the support of the Italian Army, as part of the "prevention and repression of fires" services waste and related illicit conduct”, have allowed the identification, in the municipality of Maddaloni, of an unauthorized dumping site, which was found to contain hydrocarbons.

Further investigations, carried out on site, allowed us to verify that inside the pit, which was 8 metres long and 2,5 metres deep, there had been used oil discharged and waste materials, originating from maintenance and washing activities of heavy vehicles, which are also unauthorised.
The owner of the reported area
The owner of the company was reported at large and will have to answer for unauthorized dumping activities.
The entire area, approximately 500 square meters, was placed under preventive seizure.
