Capri. The new joint municipal of Capri, led by the mayor Paolo Falco, is ready to start with an eye on kindness and Made in Capri.
Among the main innovations, the creation of a department dedicated to Kindness and Made in Capri stands out, entrusted to Melania Esposito.
The department will have the task of promoting the culture of respect and good behavior among citizens and tourists, as well as promoting typical local products.
In addition to Kindness and Made in Capri, the Falco council will focus on several other key areas, including:
Public works, mobility and maritime connections: Roberto Bozzaotre, deputy mayor, will be responsible for these sectors.
Social policies, budget, tourism and culture: Salvatore Ciuccio will deal with these areas.
Legal affairs, municipal assets, institutional communication: Ludovica Di Meglio will have these delegations.
Health, public hygiene and development of the tourist port: these delegations will be held by Mayor Falco.
Delegations also to the majority municipal councilors: Mirko Avellino: Maritime state property, protection of traditions, civil protection, seaside village, relations with associations and volunteering.
Maria Rosaria Apicella: Urban decor and regeneration, urban planning, private construction, removal of architectural barriers, relations with citizens.
Vanessa Ruocco: Environment, sea and public beaches, recovery and enhancement of paths, animal protection.
Alberto Santarpia: Sports and sports facilities, technological innovation and artificial intelligence, productive activities, protection of the Made in Capri and branding, professional training.
The new city council will take office tomorrow morning, when the permanent council committees will also be appointed.
