Afragola 10-year-old boy calls for help and saves his mother from being beaten by his classmate

Un child 10 years old, with extraordinary courage, saved the mum from the violence of her partner in Afragola.

The little hero, having noticed the situation, immediately alerted the relief efforts, calling 118 and stopping a patrol of the Municipal Police.

Thanks to his promptness, the officers intervened and were able to provide assistance to the woman and arrest the person responsible.

City Councilor Antonio Iazzetta wanted to make this story public, expressing his admiration for the child's courage and the efficiency of the Afragola Municipal Police.

“The child – explains Iazzetta – stopped the municipal police officers telling them that the mother's partner was beating her. When they arrived at the couple's home, the officers confirmed the 'denunciation' of the child who, among other things, before asking for help from the municipal police had already called 118 to have his mother rescued”.

“Once inside the house, then, – continues – the excellent work of the Afragola Municipal Police officers, under the command of Commander Antonio Amore, allowed us to rescue the woman and start all the necessary procedures to punish the person responsible for the violence and prevent him from doing further harm”.
