Night break-in in Arzano: the house destroyed pizzeria Re-dough, but the young owners do not give up.
A violent raid has shattered the peace of via Volpicelli in Arzano. During the night, a criminal smashed the window of the ReImpasto pizzeria with a hammer, and then completed the job using a car.
Video surveillance footage shows the brutality of the action, an attack that in addition to the economic damage has left a deep sense of bitterness in the young owners.
Although the loot was negligible - just a few cents from the till - the damage suffered by the premises was considerable. showcase completely destroyed, the damaged furnishings and the feeling of having been violated are wounds that are difficult to heal. The owners, with a video-denunciation on social media, expressed their anger and dismay at such a vile gesture.
The episode puts the spotlight back on the problem of safety in small towns and the difficulty of doing business in an increasingly difficult context. The Carabinieri are investigating the incident, but the local community is asking for more Checks and a greater presence of law enforcement.
The young owners of the pizzeria, in the video complaint released on social media, commented bitterly on the episode: “You walk into a pizzeria on a Saturday night and think you’re going to make the hit of your life. Aren’t you ashamed? Go to work.” The local police station is investigating the incident.
“Many entrepreneurs from the north write to me that they would like to invest here but that they are afraid, that they would not feel protected. How can we blame them if those who have always lived and worked here must continually suffer abuse, theft and robberies? Not even, as can be seen from this latest case, taking away the takings serves to protect the businesses.
The State is absent, it would be enough to demonstrate its presence by reinforcing the forces of law and order. Instead, security is of little concern to this Government, as well as to the South, always abandoned and left to drift”- declared Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who was purged from the Green-Left alliance.
