The murder of Domenico Giordano, a former helicopter pilot for the Guardia di Finanza, seemed destined to remain a mystery.
Shot dead in Lettere in 2021, while returning home from Mass, his murder shocked the local community. However, thanks to the tenacity of investigators, the truth has finally emerged.
The man, apparently with no criminal record, allegedly commissioned Giordano's murder to definitively take possession of the disputed land. A petty motive that led to the death of an honest man.
