Mugnano. Two months to go until New Year's Eve, and in just a few hours the second seizure of illegal fireworks has already taken place. The Carabinieri of the Qualiano station have arrested a 34-year-old, with no criminal record, for illegal possession of explosive material.

The man was stopped in the parking lot of a shopping center in Mugnano. Forty-eight unconventional pyrotechnic devices were found in his vehicle, and a subsequent search of his home uncovered another 48 similar devices.
The seized material was entrusted to the bomb disposal experts of the Provincial Command of NapoliThe 34-year-old is currently in prison security, awaiting trial.
