Naples, motorbike without helmet hits municipal officer: arrested

Naples. This morning, in Piazza Dante, local police officers arrested a man of foreign origin, AW, aged 31, in flagrante delicto.

The man, riding a motorbike without a helmet, tried to escape a traffic control by suddenly accelerating and hitting one of the officers, who suffered injuries that will heal in four days.

After losing control of the vehicle he fell but attempted to escape on foot, resisting and physically attacking the agents.

Foreign citizen tried with direct procedure

However, he was stopped and taken to the competent offices to continue with the legal procedures. The arrest was validated by the deputy prosecutor on duty, and the suspect will be judged today with a direct trial.
