For the 13 children hospitalized in the Pediatric Ward of the Sant'Anna and San Sebastiano Hospital in Caserta, this was truly a special morning.
When they opened their eyes, instead of the doctors who take care of their health on a daily basis, they found the Carabinieri of the Company in their bedroom. Caserta who, together with the Provincial Commander Col. Manuel Scarso, visited them bringing them toys, books, backpacks, hats and gadgets.
The head of the Department, Prof. Felice Nunziata, who particularly appreciated the initiative that has become a custom for the Caserta Corps for some years, personally welcomed Col. Scarso, Capt. Giovanni Riacà, Commander of the local Company and Lieutenant Antonio Coppola, Commander of the Station.
The gifts left by the Carabinieri will certainly contribute to making the children's stay in hospital more joyful during these festive days.
