Naples. A 56-year-old man, already known to the police, was arrested yesterday evening by the State Police for possession and illicit transfer of narcotics.
The operation was triggered during a territorial control service conducted by the agents of the Vasto Police Station.Arenaccia. In via Arenaccia, near vico Polveriera, the police noticed a man who, with a suspicious attitude and some banknotes in his hand, was heading quickly towards a car. After giving the money to the driver, he received something in exchange.
Suspicious of the behavior of the two, the officers immediately intervened. The buyer was found in possession of a dose of cocaine, while the driver had with him four doses of the same substance and 120 euros in small denomination banknotes.
The 56-year-old was arrested on charges of drug dealing, while the buyer was administratively fined for possession of narcotics for personal use.
