The investigators of the Digos of Frosinone have tracked down and arrested the Salernitana fan who at the beginning of the second half of the Serie B football match against Frosinone threw a firecracker towards the home fans gathered in the Curva Sud of the Stirpe stadium.
The firecracker ended up a few steps away from five workers of the Italian Red Cross causing him an acoustic trauma for which they had to seek medical treatment from the nearby Anagni hospital. The fan is part of an ultras group and the images from the video surveillance system active in the Frosinone stadium were essential to identifying him.
The police officers of the police commissioner Pietro Morelli located the fan in Avellino: they reached him and arrested him "in flagrante delicto". He is now under house arrest awaiting the validation judgment. The Anti-Crime Division of the Police Headquarters has already started the investigation to inflict the preventive measure of the Daspo with which the fan will not be able to attend any event event's audience sports for the next few years.
