Sorrento. “Mare Fuori” becomes a film. During the 47th edition of the Giornate Professionali di Cinema in Sorrento, the arrival of 'Io sono Rosa Ricci' was announced, the prequel to the film of the successful series 'Mare Fuori' starring Maria Esposito.
“We've been working on it for two years,” explains producer Roberto Sessa of Picomedia, “but it wasn't easy because 'Sea Out'it's still an ongoing production, we've finished the fifth season and we have to start shooting the sixth."
Coming to theaters in 2025 with 01 Distribution, 'Io sono Rosa Ricci' tells the origins of this character, sister of Ciro Ricci (played by Giacomo Giorgio in the fiction), before prison and a life of crime. While waiting for the film's debut, 'Sea Out 5′ will be available on Rai 2 from February 19th and in preview on RaiPlay.
The series, co-produced by Rai Fiction and Picomedia, introduces many new features, starting with the cast enriched by new entries. New characters with difficult stories behind them will cross the threshold of the Ipm of Naples, interacting and sometimes clashing with old acquaintances loved by the public.
Among the new arrivals: Francesco Luciani and Francesco Di Tullio, in the role of criminals from the North; Rebecca Mogavero and Elisa Tonelli, inseparable friends and accomplices; Alfonso Capuozzo and Manuele Velo, who represent two different souls of Naples, that of the street and that of the wealthy neighborhoods, the 'chiattilli' neighborhoods. Among the confirmations, faces now familiar to the millions of fans of the series such as Carmine Recano, Lucrezia Guidone, Maria Esposito, Giovanna Sannino and Vincenzo Ferrera, just to name a few.
